About Noghli Traditional House Hotel
Noghli House Complex includes three traditional Iranian houses, namely the Noghli Traditional House, the Rezvanian House and the Doost House. As you may have guessed, the Traditional Noghli House forms the backbone of this complex, being the first one renovated and opened as a hotel in 2000. Built during the Qajar period around 150 years ago, Noghli Traditional House is registered on Iran's list of National Heritages as the smallest traditional house in the country. This tiny space contains all the parts of a traditional Iranian house, including 7 rooms, two cellars, an interior courtyard and an exterior courtyard.
Razavian House
Located in the vicinity of Noghli Traditional House, Rezvanian House was added to the Noghli House Complex in 2009. This project was initiated with two goals in mind: developing native tourism opportunities and preserving one of the historical monuments of Kashan. After a year of restoration work, Rezvanian House opened its doors to the guests and visitors of Kashan in 2010. The distinguishing architectural feature of this house is the "garden pit", where the courtyard is dug out about one floor below the ground level. Rezvanian House is also registered as on the list of Iran's National Heritages, with 8 rooms and a spacious cellar (now functioning as a library) forming the principal parts of this house.
Khaneh Doost
Only a few steps away from the Noghli and Rezvanian houses, there is located another work of art by Iranian masters which became part of the Noghli House Complex in 2011. This house is named "Khaneh Doost" or the Friend's House to keep alive the memory of Kashan's modernist poet, Sohrab Sepehry. Being repaired for three years, Khaneh Doost was finally inaugurated as a hotel in 2014. This house includes 11 rooms; with a delicate "Howz-khaneh," a room incorporating a pond, and a finely decorated porch which are considered as unique works of architecture. It is worth mentioning that Khaneh Doost incorporates the first local playhouse in Isfahan, with very special programs to entertain its guests.
