About Malek al-Tojar Traditional Hotel
The historical mansion built by Haji Ali Asgar-e Shiraz (known as Malek-o-Tojjar) in the 19th century, in Yazd, started working as a hotel in 1997. The hotel was renovated in 2001. The walls and ceilings of this antique hotel are embellished with traditional Iranian crafts and paintings completed by the 19th century Iranian masters. The unique architecture of the building promises an enjoyable experience for visitors; a cool breeze ventilates the building thanks to the large wind catcher installed on the roof of the structure while its courtyard hosts the guests in a peaceful area centered with a pool. Moreover, the structure has winter and summer chambers, and its basement rooms are connected to one another through corridors.
The hotel has 2 floors and 22 rooms, all equipped with satellite TV and internet. In addition, the hotel has a coffeeshop, a traditional Persian tea house a restaurant. Other amenities and services are also offered, such as: luggage storage, paid transfer services, medical services, ticket services, a currency exchange and a free parking lot.
